Comments:
There are numerous varieties of amaryllis coming in a multitude of colors from white to deep red and bicolors. They also come with single, semi-double and double flowers. Flower sizes vary for relative small to very large. A bulb may produce more that one scape and each scape generally contains four flowers. Caterpillars find the foliage to be good food for their development into moths or butterflies.
