Comments:
Large, coarse textured leaves with white variegation make this tropical a striking selection for moist areas in the landscape. Plants seem to grow larger leaves if bulbs are dug, cleaned and replanted periodically. Tops die at the first freeze but growth returns in spring. A heavy mulch will help bulbs overwinter in places where hardier freezes occur.
