Leaf and crown rot disease have become a serious problem with this and other liriopes in recent years. It acts slowly affecting on a few plants causing leaves to turn yellow and the plant to rot at ground level and die. No effective treatment at this time. It is believed that the diseases come in with plants form nursery or other sources. Anthracnose also attacks the foliage causing it to have brown areas. This liriope is very aggressive and will grow out of narrow borders.
