Comments:
A very hardy variety that is well suited to screening. It can grow up to 35 feet, but is much shorter in zone 6 and the upper part of zone 7, due to the cold. Planted on 5 foot centers you should have a decent bamboo screen in 2 to 4 years. Be sure you plant it so it will not become invasive in areas of your landscape where you do not want it.
