Comments:
There are 18 species of Platycerium. They have two kinds of fronds one is large, green antler shaped fronds which are forked and spreading, upright or pendulous; and the other is usually brown, rounded or kidney shaped fronds which are overlapped like scales. These round fronds form a "nest" around the base of the plant. They are used in hanging baskets and on wooden slabs and hung on structures.
