Comments:
This is a creeping, mosslike ground cover that is especially nice for detail plantings in small places such as between stepping stones, flagstones, in rock gardens and other plantings where a soft textured, cushionlike planting is needed. In cooler climates it is sometimes used as a substitute for turf in relatively small areas. It cannot tolerate mcuh traffic and direct sunlight in the heat of the day in the Lower South.
