Comments:
This is a very fast growing vine that can cover anything in its path if growth is not controlled. Wisterias tolerate a wide range of growing conditions from full sunlight to partial shade and dry to moist soil conditions. Annual pruning is required to train vines to grow in a particular manner. This vine is well adapted to heavy garden structures like arbors and pergolas provided that they can tolerate the heavy weight of a mature vine.
