Comments:
This is the popular Queen Ann's lace that is used in decorative arrangements by florists and others. The large umbels of flowers provide a good filler and a lace-like quality in arrangements. This flower is frequently used in wedding bouquets of various types. It should not be confused with the wild Queen Ann's lace (D. carota) that grows in open fields and along roadsides. Plant seeds in late winter or early spring. Provide a fertile, well drained soil and full sunlight for best results.
