Comments:
This perennial makes a good container plant. In warm, freeze-free areas it is planted outdoors and makes an excellent ground cover in shaded areas. The foliage burns in full sunlight. The silvery sheen to the foliage can brighten a dark, shaded space quite well. Provide a well drained soil and indirect light. Early morning sunlight is fine. The foliage is the main feature, although the alumnium produces a rather insignifican flower. Above ground parts are reported to be poisonous if eaten.
