Comments:
This fern, like most favors a fertile, moist soil that contains a generous amount of humus. It produces large, gracefully arching fronds of shiny foliage. Periodic grooming by removing old, brown fronds is helpful to keep them tidy. This fern is especially well adapted to the woodland garden, but needs considerable space to spread and exhibit its fine qualities. Fertilize ferns several times during the growing season to encourage new growth.
