Gives lasting color all summer. Tubers sold by sizes that include mammoth, jumbo, No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3. Tubers may be lifted in late fall, dried and stored during the winter in a cool, dry place and replanted the following spring. Second year tubers normally one size smaller. Tubers seldom overwinter in the ground except in zones 10 and 11.
