Comments:
Sun,wind, and drought may cause leaf scorch. An excellent landscape choice. There are literally hundreds of different cultivars being offered in the trade. They vary greatly in height, spread and leaf types. Relatively short lived in the Lower South due to a root problem. Normal life span is usually under twenty years, but can live to be very old in the northern range of the country and in their native Japan.
