A plant that becomes quite large when grown under good condions in the landscape. It is possible to grow it in a contaier so that it could be protected from freezes in winterin zones higher than 8. This plant requires constant moisture, though not poorly drained soils. It flowers repeatedly from late spring into fall, but most heavily in spring.
