Comments:
A large growing ornamental grass often reaching a heigth of 15 feet. Leaves, to 3 feet, are green with silvery midrib. Leaves start droping in late summer and in winter the bare, vertical-shaped stems adds interest to the winter landscape. Flowers, are grayish-white at first, change to a reddish-tan as they age. Can be used as a specimen or in screens.
