Comments:
Does not grow satisfactorily in Florida and along the Gulf coast. In zones 4-6 they should be mulched in late fall through winter with straw or hay to protect from cold. They can be divided every 4 years in the first part of autumn. Used as a ground cover, but slow growing. Flowers for several months but best in late winter and early spring. Performs best in part shade, but will grow in sun or shade.
