Comments: This is an evergreen to semi-evergreen vine or shrub that is quite popular in Florida and California. It produces white pin-wheel shaped flowers that follow pointed pinkish-purple buds. Although it is a fast-growing vine it is often pruned quite severely into more of a shrub-like form in the garden. Flowers are quite fragrant and the foliage is glossy. Plants are quite sensitive to freezing temperatures and must be given protection from freezes in Zones 8 and 9.
