The dark color of the large leaves make this a striking specimen in the landscape during the warm months. This selection does not spread rapidly like the regular elephant ear plants. Fertilize plants during the late spring and summer to make leaves grow larger. Noted for its attractive dark purple foliage. Makes an excellent container plant. Exotic texture where ever it is used.
