Comments:
Fast growing plant that is a hummingbird favorite. Very easy to grow, but plants grow quite large if mild climates and can bloom for nearly twelve months of the year, although some cycles are more floriferous than others. Cuttings root easily in a potting mix or sand. In mild climates plants can become somewhat invasive. Suckering is common near a mature specimen. Stems(stolons)can grow along the top of the ground and slightly under ground for over ten feet from a large specimen and eventually form colonies of plants, especially in mild climates.
