Peviously known as Podocarpus nagi. Has grown in zone 8 for over 40 years without serious damage by cold. Plants are dioecious, but have never seen it in flower or fruit. Has a moderate, slow rate of growth. Has leathery, broad, dark green leaves on stiff branches. It works well when used as as a screen, hedge or strong accent plant. Provide some protection in zone 8.
