Comments:
This is one of the most popular of the Chinese elm selections as a fast growing shade tree with somewhat long pendulous branches. In the Lower South this tree is nearly evergreen with the leaves being quite glossy. The exfoliating bark makes for a most interesting trunk with irregular patterning. This tree tolerates a wide range of growing conditions.
