Comments: This is an excellent large evergreen shrub that is used primarily to form hedges and privacy screens. It works well as a small evergreen tree for the patio and other outdoor living spaces. It is sometimes called the "richman's ligustrum." This evergreen is similar to ligustrum and cherry laurel but the foliage is much softer. This shrub cannot tolerate hard freezes. Provide a fertile, well drained soil.
