This is a native of China not well known in this country, but will grow in warm climates. It produces interesting fir-like foliage. It needs dry, sandy soil and cannot tolerate wet conditions. It is reported to be a good choice for large interior plantscapes where there is sufficient natural light. Keep soil moderately dry for this tree.
