Comments:
This is an excellent perennial for wet, marshy soils. Plants spread by underground runners and form colonies of lizard's tail plants in a short time when soils are wet. The spikes of flowers are bottlebrushlike and curve at the tips. The leaves are arrow-shaped. This is a popular plant for water gardens either growing in soil and in submerged pots.
