This dramatically variegated ginger is a sport of Dr. Moy. The amount of variegation varies, with some plant's leaves have 50 % or more white area. Heavy frost damages the leaves and freezes can kill plant to ground level. In some instances the foliage may revert to being almost or entirely green and it should be removed as soon as it is recognized. The fragrant flowers are peachy-pink
