Comments:
This cassia makes a small tree that is tolerant to droughty conditions and requires lttle care. It is supposedly hardy only to zone 9, but with the recent warmer winters it has survived in the lower part of zone 8 as have other cassias that tolerate little cold weather. It makes an excellent container plant that requires less frequent watering than most and can be moved indoors when freezing temperature are expected. It produces yellow flowers in late winter and early spring.
